Daughters of Formosa
Awards honor Taiwan teenagers
Are math and science for girls? How about
physical sports? Can girls be brave and courageous? Can young people
make a difference in the world? The Daughters of Formosa Awards prove
that the answer to all these questions is "Yes!"

The 2006 Daughters of Formosa
Awards have been announced and the winners from the island-wide
competition have been honored as finalists in this year's awards. The
Garden of Hope Foundation started the awards in order to encourage
girls and celebrate their achievements ¡X especially in non-traditional
fields. The awards are open to all girls in Taiwan between the ages of
12-18.
