What Should You Do If ...

ˇ@

ˇ@

If an adult does something that makes you feel uncomfortable or hurts you, remember ˇV it is not your fault. It is always the adultˇ¦s problem.

ˇ@

Try to run away as fast as you can. If you cannot get away at first, run away as soon as you can.

  • No matter what happens, you are important and your life is important.

If you are alive, even if you are hurt by bad people, you can still recover with help from your family and doctors.

ˇ@

  • Think of an adult you trust and tell them about it. If they donˇ¦t want to listen or they donˇ¦t believe you, tell another adult. Keep telling people until someone helps you.

  • Even if something happened a long time ago, if you feel worried it's okay to tell.

ˇ@

If someone hurts you, donˇ¦t believe what they say to you. Donˇ¦t worry if you promised not to tell. It is okay to break a promise you made because you were scared or confused.

  • If anyone does anything that made you feel uncomfortable or scared it is okay to tell!
