Service Network

Our service network spans Taiwan

Counseling services – Our “Dandelion Treatment Network” is the only program in Taiwan with specialized counseling for child and adult survivors of domestic and sexual abuse. We pioneered the use of Sandplay Therapy in Taiwan for child survivors of abuse. Services include treatment centers and a telephone hotline, as well as abuse prevention education. 

Child and Youth services – include shelters, counseling, and legal aid, education, training, and social work intervention. Long- and short-term shelters including halfway houses, which provide shelter and life training skills for teenage girls. We target “at-risk” youth - both boys and girls - with services such as training, sex education, and family counseling for teenagers who have dropped out of school or have been involved in the sex industry. Also, our unwed pregnancy program aims to provide a safe, supportive environment for young mothers-to-be with no other means of support.

Women’s and family services – include shelter and treatment facilities for women and children who survive domestic violence or who witness abuse. We also provide services which target Taiwan’s community of immigrant spouses and their children including counseling, shelter, medical treatment, legal aid and advocacy.

Public advocacy – The Garden of Hope contributes to public education, prevention and treatment programs, as well as providing input on government policy and programs.
